They said the day would never come but I am happy to report they were wrong. The lights shone brightly at Weigall Oval as the lighting project finally was finished. More than 2 years after applying for the State Government Active Club SPorting grant the Cobras were finally able to flick the switch and bring light to Weigall Oval.
There were alot of people who made this project a reality and the club would like to pass on its eternal gratitude for all those who helped make this possible. Special mention to the West Torrens City Council who's generosity allowed the dream become a reality. Without the council's willingness to assist the Cobras and pitch in towards the cost of the lights we may have been waiting another 20 years before this dream became a reality.
